As we only run quality small group Uros kayaking Tours. The maximum number of participants is 7 people (during the high season from May to October) but mostly delivered as a personal and private tour.

Schedule of Departure and Arrival Times of Uros Kayak Adventure
9:00 am pick-up time from your downtown hotel in Puno and quick transfer to kayak dock
9.15 am arrival to the kayak point departure where your guide provides basic paddling instructions, if you don’t have previous experience.
9:25 am departing time toward Uros islands through beautiful landscapes.
10:10 am arrival time to island where guide provides information about Uros life, history, and building technique
11:30 am you’ll have free time for exploring the island or buying reed souvenirs (optional).
11:30 am Time to go back to Puno to the same kayak dock used in the morning.
12:15 pm arrival time to the local port and return to hotels
Uros Kayak Adventure Itinerary
Your Uros Island kayaking Tour starts with pick-up from your Puno hotel, our driver shows up at the scheduled time, and drives you to the launching place.
At the kayak dock, you’ll wear personal floatation device, enter in your Kayak and start stirring on Puno’s bay. If this is your first attempt then your guide will get you prepared for the 3 hours ahead, get elemental kayak paddling instructions, paddling techniques and fitted into your kayaks.
Titicaca kayak adventure drives you through unique Uros landscapes, mostly from January to April, you’ll enjoy the view of the high Plateau blue sky reflection on the crystal water, green carpeted reeds and native birds around in their natural habitat all this will amaze you.
Are you flying to Juliaca airport? If your stay in Puno will be short (one day) and want to paddle on Lake Titicaca. We have designed Uros kayaking starting from Juliaca airport, one hour transfer from Juliaca to Puno launch point to explore Uros by kayaks.

Juliaca to Puno + Uros Afternoon Kayak

You’ll paddle for about 45 minutes and then arrive to one of the 100 floating reed Islands.
You’ll step on this reed man-made Island for a close and in person exploration. Your first impression will be how these magnificent islands would have been built? But, there is no need to imagine!
Your guide provides clue information about their origin, history and mainly how they ended up living in such a way.
You Uros Kayak Adventure guide will teach exactly how the process of building of the reed floating island is.
Free time to take pictures (wearing traditional bright clothes), buy reed little boats, or simple hang around and enjoy the view.
Finally, after almost two hours we’ll get back to same local port, upon arrival get transferred to your hotel.
