Uros Islands Afternoon Kayak Trip is about going from Puno to reed floating Islands by kayaks after you’ve arrived from Cusco, Arequipa, Copacabana or La Paz by bus or by plane from Juliaca.
Our driver will pick you up from the bus station (or from your hotel) and keep your luggage if it is required to gain time.

Your Lake Titicaca 2 Hour Tour, starting from Puno city, will have you kayaking on calm water at our own speed, enjoying the beauty of the area (Lake Titicaca National Reserve), on arrival you’ll visit a reed home floating island (optional).

3:50 pm Hotel/bus station/train station pick-up
One of our friendly drivers will take you from your location to the kayak launching point (included in the regular pricing), which usually takes 15 minutes including traffic jam.
Meet up with your guide, after a scenery drive view of Puno city, your guide will show you the route to follow, in the distance you’ll see Uros Islands.
Or simply rent a fully equipped kayak from us, then go paddling wherever you want to explore alone or with our companion and more importantly at any hour of the day.

4:20 pm On the way to Uros
You’ll find yourself paddling through a carpeted reed landscape on a calm, tranquil, flat and shallow part of the Lake.
4:55 pm Paddle at Uros Floating Islands
This is one of the best ways to enjoy Lake Titicaca Tours. You’ll appreciate the beauty and tradition of living on such natural source man-made floating houses, the home of the men of the water, the Uros people.
The highlight of kayaking Lake Titicaca in the late afternoon is its most beautiful moment…the sun setting over the Lake and Puno Mountains. Normally Uros Islands Afternoon Kayak Trip is designed to visit Uros without stepping on any of those Islands (due lack of time), however you could do that depending on how fast you’ll get there. 5:45 pm Time to return
