Sillustani Kayak Tour is a Lake Titicaca Day Tour combining outdoor activity and archaeological site visit, beginning early in the morning.
You’ll get land transfer from Puno to Umayo lagoon shore, down foot the Funeral Towers of the Incas.
Then paddle to Umayo Island, on the way enjoy unique views, when reaching the Island you’ll see Vicuña, Andean rabbit, sheep and impressive landscape.

Later disembark on Sillustani peninsula where the tombs were built. Get a guided visit of this site and finally be picked-up and drive to Hatuncolla restaurant (15 minutes).
After lunch, we’ll be heading back to Puno by the same road. You’ll be dropped-off at your hotel in the afternoon.

8:30 am pick-up time from your hotel and land transfer to Sillustani
9:15 am arrival time at the kayak point departure, your guide provides basic instructions.
9:30 am set up kayaks and go paddling surrounding the Peninsula of Sillustani on the waters of Umayo Lagoon.
10:50 am we’re approaching Umayo Island and watch Chinchillas, Vicugnas and sheep living around.
12:30 pm disembark on the area where the funerary towers are located.
1:00 pm on the way back visit a local farm family and have lunch at Julio’s house.

What you’ll do on Lake Titicaca Day Kayak Tour
Kayaking at Umayo lagoon takes about 2 hours, with plenty of good Inca lookout ruins from your kayak.
It is a great way to get and stay physically active and enjoy a very different perspective of the place.
Sillustani kayak adventure begins at 8:30 am, with pick-up from your Puno hotel to Sillustani kayak dock (45 minutes).
You will want to be on the water quickly for having a great time enjoying the natural habitat.
