Schedules of Departures and Arrivals of “Puno to Sillustani Cycling Day Tour”
8:30 am Pick-up from your hotel in Puno city or from any Uros floating lodge (from Kalapajra pier). The driver and your bike guide come to your hotel bringing the cycling equipment and gear.
9:10 am Arrival to Desvio Sillustani, the beginning of the paved road to Sillustani, situated on the main road from Puno to Juliaca airport (left side of the road). On arrival quick instructions and lesson about how to ride behind your guide (he’ll act as your domestique).
9:30 am After a brief introduction of what you’ll do during this special day, you start pedaling. First 2 kilometers will be to warm up and find your rhythm. Let your guide pedal in front of you then you will save more energy to get until the finish line.
Extend your experience by booking a combined road biking tour and kayaking from Llachon to Amantani. Cycling to Llachon (3 hrs), lunch, hiking and overnight. Kayak to Amantani, lunch and navigate to Uros for a last paddle to Puno.

On the way you’ll take in sight some local farm houses, animals, crop fields and after pedaling almost 2 hours we are going to reach the shore of Lake Umayu.
First break will be at Hatuncolla community and finally arrive to shore of Umayo lagoon.
After the last break you’ll keep cycling at your own pace following your guide. A long the way, road condition is really good and you’ll face up and down hills.
If you consider cycling + 10 km is too much then your biking experience can start from Hatuncolla to wooden boat launching pier. It is situated 1 hour by bike and is the best part of the ride.
11.30 pm At this time you and your guide will be approaching the finish line. You must be the first one in crossing the line, do your last effort then after we head down to the pier.

A local man/woman will row a wooden boat across Umayo Lagoon to reach Sillustani peninsula shores (30 minutes). You’ll start walking up to visit the incredible tombs tower-like structures locally named Chullpas de Sillustani.
Here you’ll get delivered almost one hour guided tour and after that you’ll ride back to Hatuncolla or return by our support vehicle for a well-deserved lunch and relax.

There will be plenty of time to explore the place and meet the local people. You’ll learn about their textiles and herb uses.
2:30 pm at this time you’re going to take your private vehicle to drive back to Puno city.
