Llachon to Amantani Kayak Tour is the best rated Lake Titicaca Day Tour from Puno beginning early in the morning. You’ll depart by kayak from Puno launch point to Uros reed islands. Our motor boat takes us from Uros to Llachon in 2 hours.

Amantani Island Day Kayak Tour Arrivals and Departures
7:00 am pick-up and transfer from your hotel to Isla Esteves side or Uros Kalapajra pier.
7:20 am begin your day adventure to Uros through the maze of reeds.
8.00 am upon arrival to Uros Islands, kayaks will be uploaded on the boat and depart towards Llachon.
10:00 am on arrival, your guide and boatman set up the kayaks while you have a short walk on the Lake shore.
10:15 am we’ll start kayaking from Llachon to Amantani Island.
12.25 am we’ll get to Amantani Lodge local port while your guide stores the kayaks, you are led by the family to walk up to the Restaurant.
12.40 pm have lunch at Henry and Mary Luz’s homestay (after 15 min hiking).
1:50 pm time to depart by motor boat from Amantani to Uros Islands.
4:30 pm we’ll be back again in Uros, this time we’re visiting one floating Island.
4.50 pm after Uros kayak explore we continue paddling to Puno port, which is 45 min more to Uros Kalapajra pier (or get back to Puno port by motor boat)
5:15 pm arrival to Puno harbor, if we take the motor boat.
5:45 pm we’ll arrive to Uros Kalapajra pier or Isla Esteves road side, if we return paddling, we’ll have unique sunset view opportunities over Puno city.
5:50 pm pick-up from arrival kayak port and land transfer to your downtown hotel.

Arrival to Uros by kayaks
This section is what we call it as Uros Kayak Adventure.
We’re kayaking to Uros for about 45 minutes from Puno shore. Along the water way you’ll enjoy great sightseeing of beautiful landscape and birds.
Upon arrival, we’ll disembark on the Adventist Island, upload the kayaks on the boat roof and leave immediately to Llachon.
Another option is to paddle from Puno to Uros, visit Taquile by speed boat and finally at the end of the day (on the way back to Puno) kayak again from Uros.

Get to Llachon by boat
We’ll depart by motor boat towards Llachon which takes 2 hours navigating.
On the way to peninsula of Capachica we’ll be able to appreciate unique high Plateau landscapes. In front of us is Taquile Island the third largest Islands on Lake Titicaca.
Boat arrival to Llachon
Once the motor boat has arrived at Llachon coastline, from this point we can already see further the Island of Taquile and Chucuito peninsula. We’ll be arriving to a local port.
You then set up for Llachon Titicaca Kayaking to Amantani.

A local family is going to provide the lunch. We’ll need to hike up for about 15 – 20 minutes. When kayak paddling finishes you’ll meet up with Henry and Mary Luz’s.
The set menu is based on Quinoa soup, grilled Trout and Coca leaves or Andean mint tea. Vegetarian food can be prepared upon request.
Direct boat navigation from Amantani to Uros Islands
After this local encounter, you’re going to navigate by boat to Uros Islands on your way to Puno city. This afternoon you’ll get Uros Floating Islands Tour with plenty of time. On this visit you’ll be explained about the process building of the islands and how they ended up living on the Lake.
In the afternoon, Uros floating village is less crowded, you’ll enjoy better how this population still keeps their ancient way of living on self-fashioned reed homes.
